Platform Chain (P-Chain)
The P-Chain serves as the backbone for network governance and staking operations within the Gee ecosystem. It manages the network’s validator operations, supports new chain creation, and oversees staking processes essential for Gee’s Layer 1 (L1) infrastructure.
· Platform Virtual Machine: The P-Chain is sometimes referred to as the Platform Virtual Machine because it enables foundational operations that support Gee’s broader blockchain ecosystem.
· APIs for Platform-Level Operations: Through the P-Chain API, users can initiate various essential tasks, including:
- Creating new blockchains on the network
- Adding and managing validators for Gee L1
- Staking and governance operations that keep the network secure and functional
The P-Chain plays a central role in ensuring that Gee remains decentralized and adaptable, allowing users to actively participate in the network's evolution.
